Gateway / Dial Plan Setup Using the Sipura / Linksys

To use SIP Broker with a Sipura/Linksys (all models, including 1000, 2000, PAP2-NA (but NOT PAP2 unless it's been unlocked), 3000, 841) ATA follow these instructions:

Setup Steps:

  1. Setup your SPA 3000 according to your provider's instructions.
  2. Using a Web browser, access the admin login page for the ATA.
  3. Select the "switch to advanced view" link, and then select the Line 1 link.

  4. Scroll down to the Dial Plan section and use one of the following:

    Generic Dial Plan

    L:20,S:7,( x | [x*][x*]. <:@sipbroker.com> | <#:>[x*][x*]. )

    U.S. Dial Plan

    L:20,S:7,( x | 1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 <:@sipbroker.com>>| [x*][x*]. <:@sipbroker.com> | <#:>[x*][x*]. )

    NOTE: To force the call out via your registered VoIP provider, bypassing SIP Broker, just start the call with the # key.

    You can also speed up call completion by pressing # after you're done dialing a phone number (almost like the 'Send' button on a cell phone).

  5. Congratulations, you have completed the initial setup of your ATA. To test your setup, simply call:

    *011-1-88888

    You should hear the SIP Broker announcement. If you don't, re-check the above settings. In the event that you are still having difficulties, please consult our Support Forum.

  6. You are now ready to dial and receive calls.
